Documentation
Everything you need to get your first backup running.
Getting started
-
1. Create your account
Sign up and create your organization — the free plan is enough to start.
-
2. Add a server
Register a server from your dashboard. You'll get a one-time enrollment token for its agent.
-
3. Install the agent
Install the rlbk agent on your server with the enrollment token. See the Download agent page for availability.
-
4. Add your databases
The agent reports the databases it finds; pick which ones to protect.
-
5. Create a backup job
Choose a schedule, retention and compression, then let it run.
-
6. Restore when you need to
Pick a backup from the dashboard and restore it in a few clicks.
Key concepts
Agents
A small process installed on your server. It authenticates with a signed keypair and never needs inbound network access.
Jobs
A job defines what to back up, on what schedule, with what retention and compression.
Backups & restores
Every backup is tracked with its size and status. Restoring creates a tracked restore operation you can follow from the dashboard.
Alerts & integrations
Get notified on failures via the dashboard, or forward alerts to Slack, Teams, Discord or a webhook.
Public API
A read-only API secured by API keys, for listing agents and backups from your own tooling.
