Terms of use

Article 1 – Purpose
These terms of use govern access to and use of the rlbk platform (rlbk.tech), published by MHR CONSULT. Creating an account implies full acceptance of these terms.
Article 2 – Service description
rlbk is a SaaS platform for professionals enabling:
- installation of a lightweight agent on your servers
- automatic, scheduled backups of databases and folders
- encryption of backups before they leave your servers
- encrypted storage managed by rlbk, or in your own S3-compatible bucket (BYOS)
- data restoration in minutes
- monitoring, alerts and API access
Article 3 – Account creation
Users agree to provide accurate information and to keep their credentials confidential. Any use of the account is deemed to be made by its holder. Accounts belong to an organization; the holder manages its members and roles.
Article 4 – Payments and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment provider Stripe, monthly or yearly depending on the chosen plan. Invoices are issued and sent by email. In case of non-payment, access to paid features may be suspended after notice.
Article 5 – Acceptable use
It is strictly prohibited to:
- use the platform for illegal, fraudulent or deceptive purposes
- attempt to circumvent technical security measures
- transmit malicious content (viruses, malware, etc.)
- resell or sublicense access to the platform without written authorisation
- back up content you do not hold the rights to
Article 6 – Intellectual property
The platform, its brand, code and content remain the exclusive property of MHR CONSULT. Data backed up by the user remains the user's exclusive property.
Article 7 – Data and privacy
Backups are encrypted before leaving your servers (zero-knowledge): MHR CONSULT never has access to their plaintext content. Personal data processing is detailed in the privacy policy.
Article 8 – Availability and liability
MHR CONSULT uses reasonable means to ensure service availability, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. Users remain responsible for regularly testing their restores. MHR CONSULT's liability is limited to the amounts paid over the last twelve months.
Article 9 – Termination
Users may cancel their subscription at any time from their account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. MHR CONSULT may suspend or terminate an account in case of serious breach of these terms.
Article 10 – Modifications
MHR CONSULT may update these terms. Users are informed of any substantial change; continued use implies acceptance.
Article 11 – Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, the competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
